Welcome to the Home page of the Wareham Art Club
The club meets in the Parish Hall, Wareham, off Wareham Quay on Monday evenings from 7.30 – 9.30pm and Tuesday mornings from 10am – 12 noon.
On the 2nd Monday of most months there is either a demonstration or lecture from a visiting artist. Please see below or on ‘Events’ page for full details of the year’s programme.
We have re-commenced the Monday Evening and Tuesday Morning Workshops and so far they have been well supported.
We have Covid safety procedures in place including:- Masks, in case you forget, hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wipes for tables and chairs and a Track and Trace form.
If you wish to attend and haven’t already done so, please contact David for a place as we are limited to 24 people.
We have had the sad news that Fred Fancy has died. We knew that he had been gravely ill and if you remember we sent him a get well card recently.
Fred was a founder member of Wareham Art Club and I know he will be sadly missed especially by Monday evening regulars.
I have sent a condolence card to his family from the club.
Working within the Covid regulations demonstrations have resumed so please look out for e-mails with details. They are limited to 24 participants but that includes the demonstrator and helpers. Please get in touch with David Cole if you wish to attend to book a place.
